A quick look at the role At Biffa, the Change Manager role plays a pivotal role in shaping and delivering successful business transformation. As a key member of the Business Change team, you will lead impactful change initiatives across a complex organisational landscape, collaborating with stakeholders at all levels to ensure seamless adoption of change. Your core responsibilities Lead workshops to analyse and document the impacts of change, providing valuable insights into how new processes and systems affect the organisation, employees, and stakeholders. Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to define measurable metrics, ensuring alignment with the business case and tracking the success of change initiatives. Identify and engage key stakeholder groups, developing tailored materials to keep them informed and actively involved in the change process. Plan and support the engagement of a Change Network, including recruiting, onboarding, and managing Change Champions and Super Users to drive adoption. Develop actionable change plans to mitigate organisational impacts, ensuring alignment with broader project goals and successful integration into business operations. Partner with the communications team to create and deliver clear, consistent messaging that keeps the business informed and aligned on programme progress. Work with the training team to ensure the delivery of effective training programmes, equipping employees with the skills to adapt and thrive during the transition. Monitor and manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID), developing action plans to address challenges and ensure timely delivery of change initiatives. Gather readiness assessments from impacted groups, providing regular updates on their readiness levels and supporting decision-making for go-live. Support the transition to business-as-usual (BAU) by addressing issues during hypercare, ensuring adoption, and embedding changes for sustained success. Our essential requirements 2 years experience as a Change Manager or Change Lead Project management (e.g. PRINCE2) and change management certification (e.g. APMG Change Management) Delivery experience of change impact assessments, action plans, change readiness assessments, change networks Biffa – we’re changing the way people think about waste At Biffa, we love working with waste.
