Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

This role is to lead key retailer channel marketing activity including online and offline stores, ensuring that cohesive quarterly / 6 month / 12 month marketing plans are in place and implemented effectively. You will develop strategic TTL plans with partners for new product launch, in-life phase and implement channel campaigns to achieve sell-out targets, expand market share and pursue bold growth targets.

You will lead on retailers by crafting and implementing strong, creative TV and AV marketing activities including key promotional activity /added value campaigns within specific channels on time and to budget. These activities could include:

ATL Media – TV, Press, Outdoor

In-store Promotion Execution – POS

Execution on third party retailer websites including product page management, banner advertising and brand store development.

Digital Advertising: Paid search, social, SEO, affiliates and VOD.

You will handle and brief agencies to build or customise assets to best communicate promotions, or product features and benefits that give Samsung stand out and drive sales.

You will set critical metrics for all planned marketing activity including digital metrics, and review efficiency. You will also support on reviewing Channel marketing budget ensuring its allocated in a cost effective manner to improve return on investment.

Working with the Retail Marketing Team and Field Team, you will ensure strong alignment of campaigns from Online through to in store - collaborating with the Retail Manager on events from briefing agencies, stand development, samples, logistics and creative. You will then collect and distribute marketing information to internal and external collaborators.

You will then track execution, success and key findings of channel activity- sharing results with the wider business.

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

Soft Skills

Ability to balance multiple partners in order to reliably deliver on key projects

Experience managing agencies and third party suppliers

Standout colleague, with ability to quickly build solid working relationships across the business and project lead large projects

Clear communicator able to articulate the approach and ongoing performance

Ability to create and deliver persuasive, clear, innovative and concise content

Comfortable working in a corporate environment with a proactive approach to problem solving and multi-tasking

Hard Skills:

Degree or equivalent experience in marketing background

Product Marketing and Services Marketing experience within a similar role

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (inc Strong MS PowerPoint & Excel)

Highly analytical and able to interpret data in a significant way

Experience of running marketing budgets
