are our first pair of glasses that bring augmented reality to life. We're looking for a Characterisation Technician to join the Snap Lab team at Snap Inc! What you’ll do:

Our talented team works on novel display technologies to enable the next generation of our world-leading augmented reality displays. You will: Perform manual and semi-automated characterisation tests under the guidance of the Characterisation Engineers. Perform microscope optical inspections and capture images to support the Characterisation and Process Engineers. Manage reliability tests following a documented plan and, at the appropriate times, perform the readpoint tests. Perform periodic equipment performance checks and, as needed, arrange calibration, repair or servicing. Maintain a stock of test fixtures, probe needles and probecards and arrange replacements or repair as required. Maintain a secure wafer storage location. Ensure the smooth running of the Lab. Manage the movement of wafers into the Lab and, where required, package and ship wafers from the Lab to third parties and keep appropriate records. Snap Office Fire Marshal and First Aider (with appropriate training). Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Experience with basic Electronics Assembly, Testing and Diagnostics. Able to follow verbal or written instructions accurately. An understanding of general SI units and basic conversions. Familiarity with Google applications; Google Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides. Familiar with running PC based programs and able to learn new Windows based programs quickly. Meticulous record keeper. Good communicator. Able to schedule work efficiently and work without direct supervision. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences or related field. Experienced with LED’s and or Display Technologies. Experienced working in a Lab environment.
