As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will have responsibility for assessment of care needs and evaluation of programmes of care, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients. In the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse/Team Leader, the post holder will have continuing responsibility for the management and clinical leadership of the area, including supervision, development, and deployment of staff.
Duties may vary with the type of ward/department and the degree of patient dependency.

What we'll need you to bring
Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration
Educated to/working towards/operating at Degree Level
Postgraduate expertise within specialty/area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safely, effectively, and efficiently.
Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the specialty/area of practice.
Specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies, and procedures associated with the specialty/area of practice ensuring that the level of expertise can be utilized to deliver leadership within specialty/area of practice.
Leadership skills to enable the day-to-day management of service delivery.
Further education/evidence of Continuous Professional Development in area of specialty including study days/courses/postgraduate qualification.
The post holder will possess excellent team-working/leadership skills and have the ability to motivate others and work using their own initiative.
Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
