to join our Engineering Team at our
Walkergate Depot
in
Newcastle upon Tyne . At Stagecoach North East, we operate over 400 vehicles, connecting our passengers across Tyne and Wear and Teesside, with our engineering teams playing a fundamental role in ensuring our vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. Our depot at
Walkergate
is a purpose-built facility, and we operate
100
buses from there. The successful candidate will play a key role within our maintenance team to ensure our vehicles are maintained and repaired, remaining available, roadworthy, and reliable for our customers at all times. This is a shift-based role, with shifts working on an 8 on, 6 off rota (4 days per week), which will be discussed at interview. A PCV licence is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided as required. Minimum Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject is essential. Job Types:
