Charities Accounting Manager Hull Excellent Salary and Benefits including hybrid working Specialist Accountancy Practice recruitment consultancy, Clark Wood, are working with one of Hull’s premier firms of chartered accountants as they are seeking to recruit a Charities Accounting Manager for their Not for Profit, Charities, and Education team. The firm offers innovative accounting solutions to a diverse range of clients and utilizes the latest cloud-based technology to support a wide array of businesses in all aspects of accounting and business advisory services. As a result of the continued success and growth of the firm, they are now seeking a Charities Accounting Manager to oversee an existing portfolio of clients. As you’d expect from the team you’ll sit within, all of your clients will be from the Not for Profit, Charity, and Education sectors. You will also have responsibility for staff management, which will include reviewing the work of less senior team members and providing support and guidance to aid their development. Key Responsibilities:

Manage an existing client portfolio, leveraging effective client management and networking to enhance the firm's presence in the local business community. Review and deliver year-end accounts, audit, and tax compliance for clients. Provide ongoing mentoring and guidance to team members, fostering their professional development. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Identify and develop new business opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with external business contacts to expand your professional network. Promote efficiencies and best practices to partners, managers, and support teams. Uphold and deliver excellent client service across all responsibilities. Skills:

ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 12 months post-qualification experience managing a team and client portfolio. Preferably, experience in the charities and/or education sectors. Proven excellent communication skills and strong networking abilities.
