Role Information: Check Management Support Engineer (CSME) Location: Manchester Salary: Competitive Shift Pattern & Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 15:00 to 23:30. Company Benefits include: 25 days annual leave entitlement + bank holidays 4x Life assurance 4% Employer pension contribution Sick pay Service awards from 2 years Relocation allowance considered if required Summary of duties Check Management Support Engineer (CSME): We are seeking a Check Management Support Engineer (CSME) to join our clients Base Maintenance team at their Manchester Hangar. This role is an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to deepen their expertise in aircraft maintenance management. In order to be successful in the role of Check Management Support Engineer (CSME) you will need to demonstrate the following skills: Perform maintenance and aircraft preparation to the highest standards. Conduct routine maintenance checks and modifications as directed by zonal supervision. Collaborate with the Check Manager and Certifying Engineers (B1/B2) to identify potential issues and develop proactive solutions. Provide timely updates to Certifying Engineers on factors impacting work plans. Report unsafe situations to supervisors and via the internal reporting system (Centrik). Ensure all maintenance is carried out in accordance with approved Maintenance Data. Maintain technical integrity for all work conducted under your supervision. Engage in career development through the Mechanics Passport Scheme. Maintain excellent tool control and ensure a clean, safe working environment. Uphold company Health and Safety policies at all times. Exhibit flexibility in adapting to a dynamic work environment. Role-Based Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience as a mechanic in aviation or a related field. Completion of an indentured apprenticeship or equivalent in aviation or mechanical engineering. Part 66 A Licence is preferred but not required; our client will provide training for career growth. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to thrive in a collaborative team setting. Ability to adapt to changing requirements and work effectively under pressure. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.). Full UK driving license is essential. Right to live and work in the UK is essential for this position. Requirements for the role:
