Senior Chef Manager
to help us deliver exceptional food experiences to our children at
The Godolphin Junior Academy. Godolphin is a small primary school providing around 180-200 meals a day. As a Senior Chef Manager, you will be working in a passionate and hard-working team to create an outstanding experience for our school. Your key responsibilities will include: Managing the main aspects of the kitchen including Health & Safety and Training & Development, and maintaining the Unit Bookwork. Receiving and managing food deliveries and storage. Supporting the Group Executive Chef with additional hospitality events covering all 9 of the Park Federation Academy Trust Schools, including events, school lunches, buffets, parents evenings, inset days, and specialist meetings - this will involve preparation of finger food, taster bowls, and canapés. Developing great working relationships with clients, team, and customers to ensure the catering contract is always growing in the right direction. Our ideal Chef Manager will be: Passionate about food and great customer service. A fantastic communicator who works well as part of a team, with excellent supervisory skills to manage, develop, and motivate a large team. Financially astute, with full training provided in all our processes and software systems. Having a craft background with qualifications/experience to match. Role details and benefits include: £27,000 per annum plus our Chef Bonus which we pay each term, adding a further £1000 per year tax-free. Monday to Friday 7:00 - 15:00 hours (some flexibility required). Excellent work/life balance due to term time only contract. Holiday pay. Consistent training and development.
