We are seeking an experienced Chef Manager for a thriving secondary school located in Croydon. You will be preparing meals for students aged 11 to 18. This involves ensuring the food is not only nutritious and delicious but also appealing to the students. As the Chef Manager, you will lead a team of 8, ensuring that daily operations run smoothly. You’ll be responsible for overseeing food preparation, staff coordination, kitchen safety, and adhering to strict hygiene standards and allergen management. Responsibilities:
Proven experience as a Chef Manager, particularly within an education setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team. Passionate about food, with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Excellent communication skills, both within the kitchen and with other departments. High-level culinary skills paired with a good understanding of kitchen finances. Ensuring all kitchen due diligence is adhered to. Benefits:
