Chef Manager, B&I NE27 Newcastle, £40k
This busy site provides a catering service for staff and hospitality as well as a Starbucks coffee bar. All food is freshly prepared and menus based on modern trends and concepts.
As the Chef Manager, you will:
Be fully responsible for the running of the catering operation
Lead and manage a team of 4 as well as be hands-on
Produce fresh modern food for both staff dining and hospitality requirements
Oversee the Starbucks coffee
Be client-facing – building and maintaining a good working relationship with the client as well as customers
Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 7am – 3.30/4pm, 40 hours per week Our ideal candidate would be: An existing Chef Manager or Head Chef looking to step up Experienced within B&I or contract catering Able to lead and manage a team as well as hands-on Strong in communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships Client-facing with a strong presence Financially aware Attentive to detail and presentation Adaptable, flexible with a positive attitude Interested?
