We have an exciting opportunity for a Chemical & Chromatography Sales Specialist to join our innovative & fast-paced business covering the South and Midlands of the UK. In this role you will have significant input over a key sector of our business with established sales/relationships. This role has huge potential for sales growth and to be part of a rapidly growing company at a very exciting phase of our development. This is one of two new roles created due to our expansive growth. Job Summary: We are looking for someone that can work both independently and in a team, build good relationships and is well organized to help take our Chemical & Chromatography business to the next level. The position requires someone with a strong technical understanding of chemical/chromatography techniques who is able to leverage that knowledge to sell our product range. Working collaboratively alongside our existing sales managers this position would be responsible for direct selling, product training (internal & external), providing strategic advice and organizing localized marketing activities. Key Responsibilities: Be the go-to person for the Chemical & Chromatography portfolio in your territory with responsibility for growing sales and margin. Provide training, guidance and strategy to help the wider sales force grow their sales. Organize local marketing campaigns, assist with product/supplier launches, attend/exhibit at relevant events and provide product training to the sales team. Analyze sales data, identify market trends and use this information to grow the business. Work collaboratively with the wider chemical & chromatography sales team to help grow the business. The Ideal Candidate: Although this role requires a variety of competencies, we recognize that not everyone will necessarily have all of these skills on day one. So, we are willing to consider someone with no sales background that has 1-2 years of experience working in a laboratory in a chemical or chromatography setting. A Full driving license is essential as visits to customer sites and attendance at conferences & exhibitions across the territory are expected. Candidate must be resident in this territory with preference given to candidates in a location central to the territory.
