Based in State of the Art Laboratories.

The position of laboratory chemist is a varied and exciting role, with candidates being hands-on with the production of chemical materials. The role also involves operating, calibrating & developing test instruments.

Main objectives are:

Assist in lab operations at the Lab Produce reference materials, in accordance with established procedures Testing and verifying reference material Work to established in-house procedures to ensure compliance with ISO 17025 & 17034 Conduct weekly/monthly lab checks Carry out regular stability and homogeneity testing Waste management Maintain high levels of cleanliness Undertake good housekeeping

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS A level Minimum in Biology, Chemistry or Physics Strong understanding of the Good Lab Practice GCSE Maths, English, Science (C 5 or higher) Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products

PREFERRED SKILLS Bachelors of Science, preferably Chemistry, or closely related Good attention to detail Good problem-solving skills Driving license Aware of 5S
