You will be a CCAB qualified accountant with the ability to lead the preparation of the Council’s annual revenue budget and its medium-term financial plan, and have extensive experience of budget monitoring for a range of complex services. You will also play a key role in the management of the closedown process and preparation of the annual accounts which includes liaising with the external auditors. You will also have a working knowledge of professional codes of practice covering local authority finance and accounting. You must also have the ability to collate and analyse information, think creatively and achieve practical solutions to day to day problems. What We Offer:
