Job Description: As the Chief Business Officer (CBO) of GVW Group, you will play a critical role in overseeing the operational functions of our diverse portfolio comprising five distinct automotive, manufacturing, and investment companies. You'll lead strategic planning, ensuring each company operates efficiently and meets its targets. Your leadership extends to team management and fostering a culture of innovation. You'll maintain stakeholder relationships, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with regulations. Ultimately, your aim is to drive growth, innovation, and operational excellence across the entire portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Developing and implementing operational strategies to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of each company within the portfolio.
2. Guiding the executive teams of each portfolio company in maximizing their performance and operational effectiveness.
3. Monitoring the performance of each company against key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational goals, and taking corrective action when necessary.
4. Providing leadership and guidance to the management teams of each portfolio company, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
5. Addressing operational challenges within each portfolio company swiftly and effectively.
6. Providing hands-on guidance and support to the executive teams of each portfolio company, implementing operational best practices and driving efficiency improvements.
7. Managing the financial health of the portfolio companies, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and monitoring financial performance.

1. Operational Agility: Demonstrate a nimble and adaptive approach to problem-solving, capable of quickly diagnosing operational issues and implementing targeted solutions.
2. Hands-On Leadership: Possess a hands-on leadership style, comfortable addressing operational challenges directly and empowering executive teams.

Qualifications:

1. 15 years of experience in a senior executive role managing diverse portfolio companies, with a track record of driving operational turnarounds and value creation initiatives.
2. Strong background in operational management, with expertise in strategic planning and financial governance.
3. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build consensus and drive organizational change.
4. Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) in business administration, finance, or a related field is preferred.
