Job description Job responsibilities You shall undertake highly skilled cardiac physiological tests on patients to inform clinical diagnosis. You shall be confident in interpreting results, providing factual reports on investigations, and feeding back outcomes to patients in a sensitive and professional manner. You will be required to demonstrate clinical leadership, undertaking clinical supervision and training for trainee staff and professionals up to degree level. You shall also be responsible for participating in regular clinical audit and research and development activities. Person Specification Qualifications Essential BSc Clinical Physiology or equivalent. Working towards British Society of Echocardiography accreditation/ Heart rhythm society accreditation. Physical Skills Essential Excellent Physical Dexterity Skills. Frequent requirement to exert moderate physical effort which may include working in an awkward position, movement of patients in wheelchairs and manoeuvring equipment. Aptitudes Essential Requirement for frequent prolonged concentration. Unpredictable workload. Able to pragmatically respond to change. Abilities Essential Able to support others and provide clinical supervision. Communication Skills Essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Ability to engage with a variety of people patients and staff, some where there are barriers to understanding.
