Overview

As our new Wind Turbine Chief Consultant, you will be part of our global Offshore Wind Advisory team. You will engage with various stakeholders supporting project development across all stages, from early conceptual design until project execution and package management. You will support in shaping and enhancing our service deliverables. You will also play a pivotal role in the support of the development, design, installation, and commissioning of wind turbine electrical systems for wind energy projects. Leveraging your expertise in electrical engineering and renewable energy, you will contribute to the development and optimization of wind farm projects and wind turbine systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Your tasks and responsibilities

As part of the Offshore Wind Advisory team, you will both be part of multidisciplinary project teams, which deliver international offshore wind projects of varied complexity, as well as part of our Wind Turbine technology-dedicated team. Your responsibilities will include:

Support and lead relevant working packages for the wind turbine scopes, ensuring adherence to project specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Provide expert guidance and strategic advice in all areas within the wind turbine scope, especially wind turbine electrical systems.

Deliver on technical due diligence assignments in support of large and complex finance transitions.

Project roles in the wind turbine package within our Owner’s Engineer service deliveries.

Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems during project execution.

Support and lead the technical preparation, coordination, and management of the wind turbine scope tendering processes.

Support standardisation processes and initiatives across the Offshore Wind Advisory Team.

Provide training and mentorship to project team members, subcontractors, and field personnel.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.

A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in wind projects.

Extensive experience in offshore wind project development, execution, and operation.

Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage timelines.

Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation associated with offshore construction projects.

Strong writing and communication skills in English; additional languages are beneficial.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
