Based in Christchurch, reporting to the Board through the Chair and leading an experienced executive team, the overall accountability of the CEO is to lead the successful implementation of the Board’s strategy, achieving commercial and strategic objectives while enhancing a culture of performance and safety. In doing this, the CEO will – amongst other things: Lead a high-performing and collaborative Executive Team in accordance with the values of TDX, empowering them to lead the achievement of organisational objectives. Champion a culture that holds its people at its heart, keeping them safe and healthy and aligned with the value of “We care, take care”. Manage key and critical stakeholder relationships, ensuring clients, vendors and advisors are aligned with and support the achievement of the TDX strategic objectives. Challenge the thinking of each business function through the Executive Team, leading and driving a culture of operational excellence. Lead the consideration and development of new initiatives and opportunities that will enhance profitability, productivity, and achievement of strategic objectives. This is a critical leadership role that will drive the enhancement of shareholder value while ensuring continued world-class service to all customers. Are you ready? About you

To be successful as the CEO, you will be an experienced commercial leader, ideally with a background as a CEO, COO, or senior executive overseeing major business functions. You will have a proven track record of driving performance, achieving strategic goals, and leading teams to meet ambitious targets in complex markets. Your expertise in operational excellence will be demonstrated through process improvements, cost management, and technology integration that deliver measurable results. You will inspire your team and the business, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Your direct communication style will make you approachable and decisive, enabling you to tackle challenges and motivate teams. Your strong interpersonal skills are essential as the CEO for TDX as success involves managing operations alongside building relationships with stakeholders, customers and vendors.
