As the leader of the business, the successful role holder will be responsible, along with the Board, for setting the strategic direction and steering ABCUL to positive and successful outcomes. We Expect:
As the leader of our business, set the strategic direction and steer ABCUL to positive and successful outcomes. Be ethical, approachable, collaborative, and authentic. Drive a positive business culture, set the tone, and lead by example. Ensure the business has the right resources and structure to deliver against its vision and plans. Ensure that the services offered and the level of service to our members are of high quality and fit with member needs. Develop and implement practice plans and risk strategies to ensure our business is protected. Maintain and develop awareness of regulatory and legal expectations and proactively share this knowledge with the team. Empower the team to deliver successfully against their roles. Take a collaborative approach and promote a culture of collective responsibility. Utilise strong stakeholder management, lobbying, and influencing skills for the benefit of ABCUL and its members. Put our members and our staff first. The successful role holder must be available to work from our Head Office in Manchester in line with ABCUL’s Hybrid Working Policy.
