Chief Finance Officer

To support this agenda our client is seeking to appoint an commercially focused finance leader with the energy, passion and commitment to ensure they continue to thrive and produce inspirational learning that delivers for students, staff and employers. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will lead the finance and estate strategy across the business, ensuring the financial integrity of the organisation through enhanced business planning, financial control and reporting to maximise efficiencies and opportunities for growth. You will provide the day-to-day line management for the finance, estates and commercial growth functions with a keen focus on capital expenditure, risk management and compliance, along with the analysis of key management information to transform performance and deliver the long-term sustainability needed. You will be a qualified, commercially orientated finance professional with a wealth of strategic experience, ideally gained within a highly complex, customer centric environment. With strong technical expertise, you will have excellent analytical and planning skills and be fully conversant with complex revenue streams and capital investment/development initiatives. You will possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the capacity to engage at all levels across and beyond the organisation, to shape the strategic challenges through deliverable and workable business solutions. Your drive, passion and creativity will be motivational, and you will deliver results that drive performance set against the organisations vision.
