Kirkintilloch Health and Care Centre Relocation Package where appropriate About Us As part of the shared commitment between NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and East Dunbartonshire Council, the Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is responsible for the planning and delivery of a range of community health, social work and social care services for older people, adults, children and families and people in the Criminal Justice System in the East Dunbartonshire Council area utilising funding from the Council and Health Board. We are justifiably proud of East Dunbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) whose reputation for excellence is well known and longstanding. The HSCP is a full partnership between NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and East Dunbartonshire Council. The Health and Social Care legislation brings new challenges and opportunities for change with strong partnership working with our communities and partners being a critical feature in the successful delivery of integrated services. Building on the existing foundation of partnership working and integrated service delivery arrangements; further opportunities exist for improvements and transformational change. Our vision for integration is to deliver better outcomes for the people of East Dunbartonshire through services that are planned and delivered seamlessly from the perspective of the patient, service user and carer. About the Role We are now looking to appoint a Chief Finance and Resources Officer who will provide dynamic leadership to the HSCP’s finance portfolio and, as part of the HSCP senior team, deliver to a wide range of strategic objectives. The successful candidate will possess personal and professional credibility and an aptitude for strategic thinking alongside a proven operational knowledge and understanding of health and social care services. Reporting to and working closely with the HSCP’s Chief Officer you will also provide high level expertise to the Integration Joint Board for the financial administration and governance of an integrated budget of over £252M. As a CCAB qualified senior finance professional, your experience will demonstrate a significant track record of financial management within a large, complex, service-led organisation. You will come with proven strategic leadership skills with the drive and resilience to inspire and motivate to achieve the best from integration. Established and proven negotiating skills and the ability to operate and influence in a politically sensitive environment are further requisites for the successful candidate.
