ABOUT THE ROLE
The Chief Financial Officer will maintain ownership over the Finance function for the Group, working directly with the CEO and the Board whilst developing the commercial function.
DUTIES
Ownership of all Finance activity for the Company
Finance business partnering – business wide commercial support, working capital management, and treasury
Drive operational efficiencies for the manufacturing lines, implement lean methodologies and process flow improvements
Performance insights and reporting - plus ability to communicate results with the Board
Develop commercial insights to help drive more informed decisions, in particular around profitability stemming from labour and manufacturing related costs
Ensure all controls, risks and process reviewed and accounted for
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualified CA, CPA with a degree in finance or related
CFO experience in a SMB environment
Manufacturing experience in building, car / auto, steel or related industries
Hands-on, with ability to manage a team of 5 - 10
Prior experience with lean manufacturing ideal
Must have experience in dynamic businesses, ideally with a national footprint
You will need to be based in Geelong or from western Melbourne as you'll be expected to spend significant time in Geelong.
