The Role: This is a critical leadership role, overseeing and managing all financial operations, ensuring the implementation of robust controls, efficient processes, and accurate reporting. Working as part of the senior leadership team, you will shape and execute the company’s vision by aligning financial planning with overarching business objectives. As a trusted advisor to the board, you will provide valuable insights and recommendations on financial performance, risks, and growth opportunities, ensuring the company’s governance and strategic priorities are effectively supported. Key Responsibilities: Lead the finance function, managing all financial operations ensuring robust controls, efficient processes, and effective reporting. Collaborate with the rest of the senior leadership team to develop and implement the company’s strategic vision, aligning financial planning with business objectives. Engage directly with the FCA and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Act as a key advisor to the board, providing insights and recommendations on financial performance, risks, and opportunities. You: Fully qualified accountant with a proven track record of managing a finance function in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Familiarity with FCA requirements and regulations, with experience of working closely with regulators. Demonstrated success in contributing to and executing company strategy as part of a senior leadership team. Ideally prior experience as a regulated director in the financial services sector.
