£100k, increasing to £120k-£130k after 3 months About the Role: As the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the agency. Reporting directly to the MD, you will provide strategic financial guidance, manage risks, and oversee the agency’s financial operations to support ambitious growth goals. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the agency’s goals. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure optimal resource allocation. Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and recommend actions for improvement. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain robust internal controls. Drive and oversee mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, including due diligence, deal structuring, and integration. Evaluate potential investment opportunities and manage key stakeholder relationships. Partner with department heads to provide financial insights that inform creative and operational decisions. About You: The ideal candidate is a proactive and innovative financial leader who thrives in fast-paced, creative environments. You have the expertise to balance creativity with fiscal responsibility, inspiring confidence at all levels of the business. Key Qualifications: Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial leader, ideally within the creative, marketing, or media sector. Significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, including deal negotiation and post-merger integration. Experience in a Private Equity background. Experience with an IPO. Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and reporting standards. Track record of driving growth, managing budgets, and improving financial performance.
