CFO to be based

in London, UK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships. He/She will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding the company's financial strategy and operations. Responsibilities Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the group’s goals. Provide strategic recommendations to the Chairman, CEOs and Board of Directors. Lead mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, ensuring strategic alignment. Identify opportunities to drive financial efficiency and maximize profitability. Oversee the preparation and analysis of consolidated financial reports. Direct the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models. Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure financial stability. Optimize capital structure and manage relationships with investors, banks, and other stakeholders. Lead and manage the finance team across all business units and geographies. Develop and enforce financial policies, controls, and procedures. Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations. Evaluate and implement systems to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency. Identify, monitor, and mitigate financial risks across the organization. Oversee internal audits and work with external auditors to ensure accuracy and compliance. Ensure effective insurance coverage for the group’s assets and operations. Provide clear and concise financial insights to support decision-making. Represent the company in discussions with regulators, industry bodies, and other external stakeholders. Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the organization's goals, with a focus on sustainable and responsible financial practices. Provide financial insights to support the development and implementation of the company's renewable energy projects. Lead the budgeting process, working closely with project managers and department heads to establish financial goals for renewable energy initiatives. Develop and manage financial forecasts, considering market trends, regulatory changes, and project timelines. Oversee capital allocation and funding strategies for renewable energy projects. Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports related to renewable energy projects to senior management, board of directors, and stakeholders. Conduct financial analysis to evaluate project performance and identify areas for improvement. Identify and assess financial risks associated with renewable energy projects. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure financial stability. Conduct financial feasibility studies and investment analyses for potential renewable energy projects. Assess the financial viability and return on investment for new initiatives. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements specific to the renewable energy sector. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and legal teams, to ensure financial alignment with project objectives. Collaborate with external stakeholders, financial institutions, and investors. Develop and oversee the implementation of sustainability reporting frameworks, considering environmental and social impact metrics. Undertake an active role in the ERP implementation process to integrate the best financial practices. Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (required). MBA, CPA, CFA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification (preferred). Qualifications: Proven experience (10+ years) in senior financial leadership roles, ideally within a multinational or group structure. Expertise in corporate finance, capital markets, international tax regulations, and strategic planning. Demonstrated track record of driving profitability and business growth. Exceptional financial acumen and analytical skills. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. High integrity and commitment to ethical standards. Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role in the energy sector. In-depth knowledge of financial management in the energy industry. Strong understanding of project finance, renewable energy financing structures, and government incentives. Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with financial software and systems. Strategic and Analytical Thinker, strong leadership and team management skills. Effective communication skills in English both verbal and written.
