Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Finance Officer to lead the financial strategy and operations of a leading organization. Reporting directly to the UK CEO, this pivotal role will oversee six divisions, including Consultancy and Business Services across multiple industries. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted partner to the UK CEO, providing not only financial oversight but also broader business management support. This position demands a hands-on leader with exceptional communication skills and the ability to foster meaningful relationships across divisions, both locally and internationally. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute financial strategies in alignment with organizational goals. Oversee mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless integration and value realization. Lead and inspire a high-performing finance team, including 3 Senior Directors, 3 Managers, and additional back-office staff. Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring collaboration and trust at all levels. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain robust governance standards. Conduct in-depth financial modeling and analysis to support business decisions. Drive finance transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Challenges and Opportunities: Enhance the relationship between operations and finance, positioning finance as a valued business partner rather than a perceived burden. Act as a right-hand person to the UK CEO, taking on responsibilities beyond traditional finance to support broader business needs. Communicate effectively with the wider business to promote understanding and adoption of financial processes. Evaluate complex topics, provide actionable insights, and deliver well-structured recommendations to the business. Ideal Candidate Profile: Proven experience in a similar-sized organization with comparable reporting structures and full financial accountability. Expertise in managing a mix of subcontractors and permanent staff. Strong business partnership capabilities, fostering collaboration with operations, procurement, IT, and other key functions. Demonstrated success in finance transformation and driving process improvements. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills. Hands-on leader with a balance of strategic vision and operational execution. Knowledge of ESG responsibilities within the business services sector. What We Offer: This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious organization and make a significant impact. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, with the chance to shape the financial future of the business and influence its broader strategic direction.
