A private equity-backed Financial Services and Technology company is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to shape and execute its financial strategy, driving sustainable growth and long-term profitability.

In this pivotal role, the CFO will lead the company's financial operations, steering strategic initiatives and enhancing systems that empower decision-making and operational efficiency. In order to succeed in the role: Prior CFO experience within fast growing, mid-market organisations Proven financial services experience from working in a regulated environment Corporate finance, fundraising and M&A experience Proven experience of working at Board level Held a FCA SMF role previously preferred Understanding of the challenges and requirements of a growing business and a 'hands on' and innovative approach to problem solving Ability to analyse and identify areas for improvement Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Packages Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to: Report to the CEO and Board: Provide financial information required to make strategic decisions Maintain Financial Controls and Systems: Ensure robust financial controls and systems are in place Strategic Financial Direction: Play a pivotal role in the strategy and financial direction of the company Develop Long-Term Plans: Develop and maintain the 3-5-year plan and support current and future projects Management Accounts: Produce detailed monthly management accounts and analysis packs Ad-hoc Reporting: Respond to ad-hoc financial reporting needs of divisional, sector, and business management teams, as necessary Senior Management Team: As a key member, play an active role in monthly management meetings, deliver on specific projects, and evaluate the financial impact of new business. Monitor Business Performance: Understand and analyse business performance drivers to drive improvements Performance Drivers: Maintain a detailed understanding of the business performance drivers Risk management framework: Member of the Risk Committee and responsible for identifying and managing financial risk areas Regulatory:

Monitoring and reporting to the Board on regulatory capital (Investment Firms Prudential Regime (IFPR)) Main contributor in the preparation of the ICARA (Internal Capital Adequacy & Risk Assessment) Complying and submitting Regdata Returns (FCA)
