The position comes due to a consistent intake of healthy, long-standing contracts meaning a need for an experienced precision engineer. See below for a detailed description of the role package and specifications of the Chief Inspector required.
The Successful Chief Inspector - Package:
£17.68 to £19.20 per hour (£35,855 to £38,937 per annum) Permanent Days Shift (07:30 - 16:30, Mon - Thu & (Apply online only) Fri) Overtime available paid at 1.5x Holiday entitlement - 33 days (including statutory) Company Sick Pay Scheme active after 1 year of service Modern, Clean working environment Free Parking
The Successful Chief Inspector - Requirements:
Experience working within precision engineering (Aerospace and/or Nuclear industry) Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications and understand First Principal measurement 5 or more years of Inspection experience Team Leader or Supervisory Experience of more than 2 years Experience Programming CMM Machinery (Mitutoyo MCOSMOS preferred) Trained in the use of applicable Quality Tools Knowledge of First Article Inspection to AS9102 Ability to perform Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility Studies
