Fruit Street Health is a U.S. headquartered corporation that is now in the process of expanding to the United Kingdom. The company delivers a diabetes prevention program via telehealth and live group video conferencing on Zoom with registered dietitians. The program is designed to help patients with prediabetes to avoid developing Type 2 diabetes by making diet and lifestyle changes. Fruit Street Health recently completed the NHS's DigitalHealth.London accelerator program which was 12-months long and allowed us to adapt our curriculum for the United Kingdom market. We are looking for a Chief Medical Officer for our United Kingdom division. The responsibilities of the UK Chief Medical Officer will include: Advocacy:

The UK Chief Medical Officer will serve as an advocate for our diabetes prevention program by speaking with local NHS trusts about adopting our program as part of the services they offer to patients. Clinical Oversight:

Oversee clinical guidelines for our program to make sure that our program is safe and effective for patients. Physician Leadership:

Speak to other physicians about the science behind diabetes prevention programs and convince them to refer patients to the programs. Product Development:

Work with our software design and engineering teams to design software interfaces for both patients, registered dietitians, and administrator user types. Public Relations:

Acting as the face of the company in the United Kingdom by appearing on news interviews and being quoted in press articles. Collaborating With Management:

You will collaborate directly with our CEO and management team to make strategic decisions about our business plan and deliver on the company's objectives. Business Development:

You will help our management team develop a business development and commercialization plan for the United Kingdom as we seek to gain contracts with the NHS. Qualifications:

Degree:

Must hold a doctor of medicine degree. Experience:

We prefer candidates that have previous experience working with startups and the digital health industry. Telemedicine experience is a big plus.
