As Chief of Staff to the CSO, you will lead strategic initiatives at the intersection of science and business. Your key responsibilities will include: Working with the CSO to drive strategic projects forward, applying structured problem-solving skills. Coordinating major projects across functional departments, ensuring high-quality outputs against defined deadlines. Preparing senior-level meetings, including C-suite and board members, to ensure effective decision-making. Maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including corporate partners. Exploring new areas of science and disease biology, in collaboration with scientific staff members. Managing critical operational tasks to advance the CSO's priorities, including coordination of schedules and preparation of impactful materials. Requirements:

Ph.D. in biology or related discipline with 2+ years of relevant post-Ph.D. experience in business-focused roles. Experience in consulting, investment, or business services industries, preferably in startups or biotechs. Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of communicating complex concepts. Strong problem structuring and solving skills, able to navigate complex problems and drive solutions. Experience interacting with senior stakeholders in business, with ability to integrate multiple viewpoints. Passion for science and enthusiasm for diving into primary research publications.
