Chief Operating Officer Our client is the Financial Services Division of a global automotive brand. They are looking to make the key appointment of a COO for their business. This new and exciting opportunity will be instrumental in the next phase of development for the organisation, driving operational excellence by implementing market leading processes and technologies. The COO will be responsible for operational business areas including IT, Risk & Compliance as well as Customer Experience. The COO will ensure an efficient, resilient and effective service delivery to both internal and external stakeholders. An innovative, strategic thinker, this board level position requires an energetic and dynamic individual with a passion for continuous improvement to enhance operational performance. As a Management Board member, the COO will play a critical role in driving operational excellence by implementing effective processes and technologies, while fostering a high-performance culture that emphasises innovation, collaboration and employee engagement. The successful appointment will be an outstanding leader, commercially minded, a high-level thinker, adept at building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Key Experience & Skills: Experience of working across key operational functions within a

regulated industry (FCA would be advantageous) . Understanding of respective business functions; Operations, Customer Services, IT. Experience of leading a business through digital change and transformation to increase efficiency and drive positive business outcomes. Leader of people who can effectively flex between leading, coaching and managing, as required. Proven competency in strategic planning and business development. Ability to develop an effective professional network with senior stakeholders at Executive and C-Suite level. Able to communicate fluently and concisely across a range of different cultures and mediums. Proven hands-on and task-oriented experience, comfortable at operating in a ‘sleeves rolled up’ manner. Ability to influence and challenge at all levels of the organisation. Attributes & Behaviours: Outstanding organisational and leadership abilities. Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills. Aptitude in decision making and problem solving. High intellect with the presence and charisma to operate and work with all levels of staff. Strong analytical skills and financially astute.
