Here at The ONE Group, we are recruiting for one of Cambridge’s research institutions & we are looking for a skilled mechanical technician to help support lab and production services across multiple labs.
You will get the chance to work across a broad range of research areas, providing support on designing, commissioning and maintaining mechanical engineering equipment to support engineers within the labs.
The right candidate will have:
- Experience designing, developing, manufacturing mechanical equipment, from rough sketches and instructions.
- Experience working with Sheet Metal, hand tools & CNC
- Experience sourcing, ordering & stock check of mechanical rigs & equipment.
- Experience of the maintaining and running labs
- Mechanical Qualification equitable to HND/HNC
