Chief Technologist
This is a strategic role assessing brand new digital IoT solutions in the water industry (around instrumentation, data analytics, modelling, calibration, and software as a service). We are looking for a water industry engineer/technical specialist who wants to drive new technologies in the water industry. Backed by a 5,000 employee multi-national technology business, this position is Midlands based with some flexibility. The salary is TBC (a newly created role), but we anticipate a package of approximately £70,000 - £90,000, plus an excellent pension (9%), 35 days holiday, healthcare package, and an EV car scheme (still TBC). Your background:
Water industry experience (ideally wastewater). Strong technical understanding of the water industry. A passion for transforming the industry with AI/IOT/digital applications of new technologies. Strategically focused, with an interest or experience in understanding solutions that will benefit the industry. Able to commute to the Midlands (near Solihull). A degree or background in engineering, physics, maths, software, or environmental studies. Understanding of digital solutions in the water industry, particularly in systems modelling and data capture. This Chief Technologist/Senior Water Engineer role offers hybrid/work from home flexibility. When working in the office, it is commutable from Warwick, Leamington Spa, Coventry, Birmingham, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Northampton, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Solihull, Ashby de la Zouch, Loughborough, Burton on Trent, and Market Harborough.
