This strategic role focuses on assessing brand new digital IoT solutions in the water industry, specifically in wastewater management. We are looking for a water industry engineer or technical specialist eager to drive new technologies in this sector. Company:
Backed by a 5,000 employee multinational technology business. Location:
Midlands based with some flexibility. Salary:
TBC (newly created role) but anticipated package is approximately £70,000 - £90,000, plus excellent benefits including a 9% pension, 35 days holiday, healthcare package, and EV car scheme (still TBC). Responsibilities: Define the technology roadmap for innovative solutions in the water industry. Focus on strategic and market-oriented approaches to novel technologies. Collaborate with a team to implement AI, IoT, and data analytics in the water sector. Candidate Profile: Experience in the water industry, ideally wastewater. Strong technical understanding of the water industry. Passion for transforming the industry with AI and IoT technologies. Strategically focused with an interest in identifying beneficial solutions for the water market. Able to commute to the Midlands (near Solihull). Background in engineering, physics, maths, software, or environmental studies is preferred. Understanding of systems modelling, water network modelling, and the integration of analytics to optimize operations. Work Flexibility:
