Chief Technology Officer focuses on own end-to-end technical vision: how capture, qa, transformation, packaging, and evaluation fit together into a cohesive platform.

What the role involves

• Own end-to-end technical vision: how capture, QA, transformation, packaging, and evaluation fit together into a cohesive platform.
• Set architecture and standards for multimodal robotics data systems (video + sensors + proprioception): schemas, validation, versioning, and provenance.
• Drive the roadmap for the “data factory” platform: ingestion adapters, transformation layer, QA orchestration, and delivery automation.
• Build the evaluation and scoring capabilities that connect dataset quality to downstream model performance (acceptance gates, benchmarks, and customer-facing reporting).
• Leading engineering org build-out: hiring plans, team structure, and culture that supports fast iteration with high reliability.
• Partner with Product, Ops/Delivery, and Research to translate customer needs into shipped capabilities and to make tradeoffs explicit.
