Rapidly Growing Creative Led Business (experience in this sector essential) Offices throughout the UK Hybrid This is not a standard CTO role. We are recruiting for a long standing client in the technology enabled creative sector. Their services are driven by strategy and creative guile coupled with technological enablement and they are planning for the next 5 years of the journey. The right technologies will make a significant impact on the business growth, efficiency and profitability. It will position them apart from their competitors and allow them to demonstrate a real, differentiated product offering to their clients. This is a critical hire in their growth plan. About The Role You will be a member of the operations board, leading a team of IT and marketing technology experts to drive innovation and BAU activities. You will be as comfortable leading the provision of laptops and first line support as you will be meeting clients to talk about how the business can solve their marketing challenges using technology. You will be the driver for technological innovation and leading change within the business and be constantly seeking new and better ways of delivering creative solutions to clients. You will apply your communication and leadership skills to relate to people in the creative industry, speak their language and empathise with their challenges. Skills and Experience It's unlikely you'll be able to do this job without having already worked in the creative industries You'll need a track record of leading small but expanding teams in IT support You must be confident in all elements of marketing technologies particularly in relation to creative services Experience of working in fast growing businesses where integrating acquisitions is key to their success You'll be expert at systems and software integration with 3rd party/customer platforms You'll be able to demonstrate outstanding communication skills both with internal stakeholders and when meeting clients to talk about and specify technological solutions Project management will be one of your key strengths You will have had autonomy for budgeting and be strong on financial management You will be the sort of person that challenges the status quo, without alienating your fellow ops board or stakeholders!
