The candidate must enjoy singing songs, getting messy, and going outdoors, as well as having great knowledge of OFSTED guidelines (Statutory and Non-Statutory frameworks) to ensure a high standard of care for every child. General responsibilities: To effectively steer the delivery of high-quality education for all children in our care. To be an excellent role model for all children and staff members. To help plan and implement activities suitable to the age range of the children attending nursery, making sure that the Early Years Foundation Stage framework is applied. To carry out observations, assess children’s learning, and complete children’s Learning Journeys and written reports. To ensure that play meets the needs of every child, taking into account their race, culture, age, and ability. To actively assist in all aspects of childcare and welfare of the children in the nursery. To implement the daily Nursery routine, leading by example. To comply with all Nursery policies including Security, Fire, Health and Safety, Safeguarding Children, Sick Children, Medicine, Discipline, and any policies required by OFSTED.
