As a Childcare Solicitor, you will:
Independently handle a variety of childcare-related cases (family law is handled by a separate team)
Provide practical and skilled representation across all stages of childcare proceedings, including:
Wardship Parental Responsibility Orders Contact Orders Interim Care and Supervision Orders Offer advice on key areas such as: Public Law Outline (PLO) meetings with authorities Child Protection issues Section 20 accommodation in foster care Children’s services involvement and assessments Work alongside additional specialists when required for the best client outcomes
What we are looking for: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in childcare law, including managing your own caseload and conducting advocacy Proficiency in all stages of childcare proceedings and related matters, including PLOs and child protection A passion for advocating for children and their families during challenging times Preferred Qualifications: Children Law Panel Accreditation:
Membership of the Law Society’s Children Law Panel Reputation:
