Do you want to move away from a busy nursery? Come and experience working in our hybrid setting, a cross between a nursery and childminder, in our cabin. We look after 10 precious little ones each day who are experiencing their first time away from home and helping parents and carers transition back to work. We are looking for a person qualified in level 2 or 3 childcare to join our small, informal, friendly team. You need to be able to work in a small cosy loving environment that provides a home from home for the children and staff alike. Personal qualities would include being friendly, caring, passionate, compassionate, reliable, and having good communication skills. As part of the team, you will be responsible for taking care of the children's daily needs and providing a warm, welcoming and entertaining day for them with the help of the rest of our team. You will be required to use initiative and planning to expand their learning and be able to communicate clearly to the children's parents and children alike. We take safeguarding very seriously, so the job will be dependent on a clear DBS check, references and Ofsted approval prior to starting. Although this takes time, it should be straightforward. You will ideally have a level 3 or a minimum level 2 in childcare. Courses such as safeguarding, food hygiene, and first aid can be provided along with any other additional courses of your interest relating to childcare. Part-time hours: Minimum of 3 days. Full day hours are required. A full day is 8am - 5pm. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: From £12.50 per hour Expected hours: 27 – 40 per week Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday No weekends Ability to commute/relocate: Oxford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): Do you have a level 2 or 3 in childcare? Experience: childcare: 1 year (preferred) Language: English (required) Work Location: In person
