Children Looked After Services

for the Yeovil Office of

Somerset Council

but covering a large geographical area. Hybrid working with at least 2 office days a week. This is an exceptional team with 90% of the workforce being permanent Social Work team with 2 Permanent team managers. You will need a social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England. You must have access to a vehicle due to the rural location of Somerset. It is essential for you to have experience of working within social care in the UK, including working with multi-agencies, as well as the legal systems. You must have a strong desire to build strong, professional relationships with families, ensuring they are central to all decision making and be able to evidence exceptional and creative care planning through recordings and assessments, supporting young people 0-18 including all statutory duties and court and adoption work.
