We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and committed Children’s Home Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality care for children in our facility. The Home Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the home, ensuring the welfare and safety of the children, and managing a team of staff. This is a leadership role requiring excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management: Lead and motivate a team of residential support staff to ensure high standards of care for the children. Children's Care & Wellbeing: Oversee the safety and wellbeing of children, ensuring that individual care plans are followed and that each child’s needs are met. Staff Training & Development: Ensure that staff are properly trained and supported, and facilitate continuous professional development opportunities for the team. Policy & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safeguarding procedures. Maintain high standards in line with local authorities and regulatory bodies. Financial Management: Oversee the home’s budget, including resource allocation and ensuring cost-effective delivery of care. Communication & Reporting: Maintain clear communication with external agencies, stakeholders, and families. Regularly report on the progress, challenges, and achievements of the children under your care. Crisis Management: Manage and resolve challenging situations with sensitivity and professionalism, ensuring children are supported in times of need. Key Requirements:

Proven experience in a managerial role within residential care or children’s services, ideally in a children’s home or similar setting. A relevant qualification, such as a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or equivalent. Strong understanding of child protection legislation and safeguarding principles. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively. Compassionate, empathetic, and able to provide a stable, nurturing environment for children in care. Experience in staff supervision and training.
