Responsibilities of this role:
To screen referrals, move cases through the system to the most appropriate team or person in the organisation and provide oversight and professional support to providers and partner agency colleagues. To work within the framework provided by statute, guidance, policies and procedures. To undertake safeguarding investigations and attend strategy meetings and MDT meetings to progress enquiries as necessary. Must be an autonomous worker with sound knowledge of Care Act 2014 and all relevant legislation relating to adults with care or support needs. Requirements of this role:
Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England. Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent) Must have a minimum of 3 years experience working as a Qualified social worker in a similar team.
