Deputy Manager

to join one of our valued clients within their children's residential service. About the Role: As Deputy Manager, you will be instrumental in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children and young people. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will help oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, and support the professional development of the team. Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support. Lead and motivate the staff team to deliver consistent, high-quality service. Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and staff supervision. Take part in the on-call rota and provide shift cover when required (including lates and occasional sleep-ins). Ensure the home meets all regulatory and legislative requirements. Build positive relationships with children, families, and external professionals. What We're Looking For: To succeed in this role, you will need: Experience

working in a children's residential setting, in a supervisory role. A strong understanding of

Ofsted regulations

and the ability to maintain compliance. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills. A flexible approach to working hours, including shift cover and sleep-ins as needed. A

UK driving licence

(preferred). A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Working towards Level 5 would be an advantage. What's on Offer: Competitive salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum.
