Are you a PASSIONATE and INSPIRATIONAL Children's Home Registered Manager looking for a stepping stone towards operations management with a new opportunity to move into a multi-site management role? Overseeing 2 children's residential homes that are yards apart in the Romford area of Essex, currently rated "Good" with Ofsted, you will be working for an organisation that understands the benefits of work-life balance and offers flexible working arrangements. The homes, which were refurbished to a very high standard before their opening 2 years ago, are both 3-bed services for children & young people with EBD. They have full staff teams including 2 experienced deputy managers in post. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the residential service, with duties including budget management, recruitment, referrals, staff management, and most importantly, the well-being of the children and young people within your care. Job: Children's Home Dual Registered Manager Salary: Up to £65k basic + £10k bonus Location: Romford, Essex (RM1 postcode) Hours: Full-time with some flexible working offered Contract Type: Permanent Annual Leave Entitlement: Negotiable About the Role: The role of Children's Home Dual Registered Manager offers the opportunity for a candidate already in a registered manager position, looking for a new opportunity in an ambitious organisation, with the children and quality at the heart of their values and a dedicated leadership team with the vision to inspire and support young people to lead happy and successful lives. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong leadership and managerial skills and experience leading within a residential home for children & young people with EBD. Responsibilities of the Children's Home Dual Registered Manager: Hold OFSTED registrations Manage staff team within services Ensure the staff and young people are supported at all times Ensure the services offer therapeutic care and support Ensure the services are safe and efficient Manage staffing and recruitment Ensure the services meet OFSTED standards Requirements: NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children's Services) NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Services Experience working within a Deputy or Registered Manager's position Experience in a residential children's home environment If you are looking to be rewarded with an opportunity where you can really make a difference, leading and inspiring a growing and ambitious organisation within the health & social care sector, this role is for you!
