Registered Manager

who will oversee the establishment of a

brand-new, 2-bedded children's home

in Bradford. This home will support young people aged 8-18 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and mental health needs. This is a perfect opportunity for Deputy Managers looking to step up to a Registered Manager's role. About the Role:

As the

Registered Manager , you will be responsible for ensuring that the home meets all regulatory requirements and achieves a successful Ofsted registration. You will lead the setup of the home, ensuring that the highest standards of care are in place, and will work closely with external professionals and agencies. Once the home is established, you will lead the day-to-day management of the home and ensure the ongoing care and well-being of the children. For the right person, our client is willing to fund their NVQ Level 5. Key Responsibilities:

Lead the successful registration of the home with Ofsted. Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of a skilled team of care professionals. Create a safe, therapeutic, and nurturing environment for young people with EBD and mental health needs. Collaborate with external agencies, commissioners, and professionals to ensure the best possible support and care for the children. Ensure the home runs efficiently and all records, reports, and policies are maintained in accordance with legal and statutory guidelines. Essential Criteria:

Previous leadership experience in a children's residential setting. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it). Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and experience in managing successful inspections. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
