A leading care provider is seeking a dynamic and experienced Children's Home Manager to launch and lead a small, specialized residential service in the picturesque town of Huddersfield, located on the edge of the stunning Yorkshire Dales. This rewarding role focuses on supporting children and young people with complex needs and behaviours, offering a competitive salary package and career growth opportunities.

Huddersfield is a thriving town in West Yorkshire, known for its rich industrial history, beautiful Victorian architecture, and excellent transport links, including a well-connected railway station, extensive bus routes, and proximity to the M62 motorway.

Key Responsibilities •Establishing and managing a new, innovative residential care service. •Building and leading a cohesive, high-performing team. •Setting ambitious targets and delivering outstanding care outcomes. •Collaborating with families and partners to promote best practices. •Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children in care.

Requirements •Minimum of 2 years' experience in staff supervision/management. •At least 2 years' experience in residential childcare, ideally as a Deputy Manager. •Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). •Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve). •Full, clean driving license. •Proven ability to support young people with challenging behaviors. •Flexibility to cover shifts when required.
