As a Registered Manager, you will:
Oversee a 4 bedded children’s home in a rural area. Manage a team of 9 staff members to deliver high-quality care. Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the home. Produce, update, and monitor plans and reports. Lead, motivate, and develop the staff team. Represent the company professionally to outside agencies and within the local community. Annual salary of £42,717.17 with potential bonuses up to £50,017.17. 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Occupancy Bonus: £175 per child after the first child. Ofsted Report Bonuses: £500 for a good report, £1000 for an outstanding report. Non-contributory pension (9% Employer contribution). Company sick pay after 6 months probation. On-call payments: £10 per day Monday-Friday, £50 for Saturday and Sunday. Enhanced sick pay: 5 days full sick pay. The ideal Registered Manager will have:
At least 2 years’ experience in the last 5 years in a relevant position. Minimum 1 year of experience supervising and managing care staff. Recognised social work qualifications (QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management and QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce or equivalent). Thorough knowledge of Children’s Home legislation and Ofsted inspection requirements. A valid manual driving licence and own car with business insurance. Ability to undertake on-call duties.
