About the Role A specialist school in Stockport is looking for a Children's Mental Health Assistant to support young people and children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will be based inside the classroom supporting students within education. Class sizes are small to ensure the needs of each pupil are met. You will be responsible for supporting their educational, social, and emotional development. Requirements Have a caring, supportive, and nurturing personality Have experience working with those with social, emotional, or mental health needs Have relevant experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults Be someone who is patient, caring, and adaptable to each young person you will support What We Offer Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
