Initial 3 month interim contract but with scope to extend up to 6 months Inside IR35 £450-500 per day (umbrella) – potential scope for negotiation Home Counties, full-time (hybrid working)

An exciting new interim opportunity has arisen within a Local Authority in the Home Counties for an experienced

Children’s Performance Manager for an initial 3-6-month interim period.

The role will be pivotal to the council's improvement agenda and readiness for ILACs in addition to supporting with the 24/25 statutory returns.

The council is investing in Social Care systems across various services and is on an accelerated journey to build and automate information through the use of MS Business Intelligence, so they are particularly interested to talk to candidates with experience of using BI for insight reports.

Application deadline is ASAP with interviews taking place next week.

About your duties as the Children’s Placements & Quality Assurance Manager:

Supporting the ILAC improvement journey by ensuring the provision of a comprehensive suite of insight and performance information to support practice and children social care operations. Working with colleagues to prepare for the 24/25 statutory returns. Building strong relationships with operational staff and leaders to understand future business needs and direction which will require information and insight. Operational oversight of performance staff group. Your experience needed as the Children’s Placements Commissioning Manager:

Essential to have managerial experience within Children’s Services Performance in a local authority or Children’s Trust setting. Clear knowledge and expertise within Power BI. Ability to form narratives from extracted data insights to help inform areas for development. Evidence good communication skills and working with IT partners in the council in addition to social work teams. Able to work on and use own initiative. Must hold a valid enhanced DBS or be able to undertake a new one. Available references for most recent 5 year's roles.
