Children's Registered Home Manager

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000

Are you an experienced, compassionate leader ready to make a real difference in young lives? We are seeking a Children's Registered Home Manager for a 4-bed home that specialises in supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD). This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in helping young people achieve stability, confidence, and brighter futures.
About the Role:
As the Registered Home Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading a dedicated team to create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment. Your primary focus will be on providing high-quality care and managing daily operations, including compliance, staffing, and care planning. You’ll work closely with our strong deputy and team to ensure the home runs smoothly, providing the guidance and leadership needed to inspire excellence in all areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily management of the home, ensuring it meets and exceeds regulatory standards.
- Lead and develop a caring and effective team, fostering an environment of growth, support, and stability.
- Work with young people to establish individualised care plans that support their emotional, social, and educational development.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted standards, safeguarding protocols, and health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with families, social workers, and external agencies to support holistic care for each young person.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Qualification in Leadership and Management (or actively working towards completion).
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within an EBD or similar children’s residential care setting.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team and foster a positive culture.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in children's residential care.
