FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Woodlands is a privately owned specialist therapeutic childcare and education service. We are different from other residential childcare settings in that we work with a defined profile of young people, we specialise in one area, and we are experts in that field. This means that we do not offer emergency placements; we have a robust referral system and carefully match young people in long-term stable placements. Our working model informs the way staff are trained and supported, and our multi-disciplinary teams are diverse in age, gender, experience, and background. This works for the young people, staff and placing authorities. We strongly promote growth from within as all our Managers began as Carers within Woodlands.

You will be part of a caring team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people, led and supported by a registered manager. As part of the team and along with other professionals, you will provide the therapeutic care and support needed by each individual child. You will act as a positive role model to meet their everyday living needs, developing trusting relationships that create recovery, growth, and lasting change.
